The Life Of A “Criminal”

The Life Of A “Criminal”
In the day I sleep. Nights, I run. Trying to get far away from here. The Prison. I practiced day and night, Lifting Weights, Running. Preparing my escape. My name is Kaleb, I get called KJ. Three years ago, They put me in jail for shooting someone but I really didn't do it. I have a wife and A kid. So that's when I said I would get out, When I heard my son holler Daddy!

December 24th, When I was out buying my kids Christmas present some man came up to me and said “Give me your money, Or I'll pull the trigger.” But I said no, I quickly pushed the gun away and hit him in his nose. But by the time I had did that, He had accidentally shot the store's cashier. A woman called 911, As the robber ran away, She said “Yes, We have a man shot” Then she told them I shot him. So I waited there trying to tell them I didn't shoot, but they didn't believe me. So they took me away, And I'm here now. About to do it.

I have already contacted my wife, And she has gone and hid a backpack in the woods. Carrying food, Water, A Gun, Map, Shoes, Money, And clothes. As I crept out of my cell, There was A guard at the end of the hall And one down on the other end. The person beside me was a fighter. So I picked up a little rock from inside my cell, And launched it at his head. He was furious, As his roommate was standing up he punched him right in his face to draw both the cops attention. As I snuck out, I went to the control room where two guards were asleep. I hit the button, And you heard a buzzer. Waking two of the guards up, I dashed out of there. I unlocked the roof hatchet. I pulled myself up thankfully. Guards were swatting at my legs like I was a fly. As I walked on the roof, I looked for a way to jump down, I had to move... Fast. But there was one guard. So I picked up a rock and threw it on the other side of the roof making enough noise for him to think something was up. The hatch was still open. As he put his head down there I pushed him in and shut it. I then lowered myself down. Were I had to face two cops. As I picked up a rock, I walked up to the cop, And covered his mouth and hit him in his Temple. Dropped dead. As I slid him in the dark, I grabbed his knife. I walked over and hit the second one with my fist and he hit me back. I then through a quick right hook and upper cut. Knockout. He was the heavy one. To many donuts, Huh? I climbed the bobbed wired fence very carefully. I had to go cut the electricity off, Cause If I hadn't I would have been bacon. As I flipped over. I thought to myself, Who knew it would be so easy to escape.. Not.

As I go to our “Location” I get my stuff. But I told you at night I run, And day I sleep. So I ran 3 or 4 miles that night. Then slept. As I pulled out my map I looked and traced in my head where I needed to be going to get home. One night was weird. I kept tripping because there was traps everywhere. I was out in the middle of no where why would they be here? All of a sudden a light flashes on me, Shotguns, pistols, Machine Guns Are pointed right at me. But it wasn't the cops. Instead it was farmers? They tied me up, stuffed me in there van and took off. I arrived at their house at about 12 at night. They took me in to this beautiful woman, Not doing much. I think she was drunk. The man asked her “What do you want to do with this trespasser.” She said Hang him in a real low mean manner. The ugly fat man shouted “Where”. “In the Dining room” replied the woman. So they did, I stood up there and had a rope around my neck when they lifted me up in the air. I hung there for about thirty seconds and then they dropped me, The lady hollered and hollered because I wasn't tied up right. She said untie him, And they did. Like they listened to everything she said.

As they untied me and went into the other room, I laid there thinking about my bag. The gun. I ripped it out, And pulled it on them. One of them grabbed his gun, So I shot him and so did the other so I shot him too. It was me and the girl. I tied the girl up and punched her real hard so I could escape. So I ran out and got as far away as I could.

I headed back to the fields and slept for the night. I had told my wife, If I am not at the Mexico border In 5 days. Then I'm dead, or Captured. As I approached the third day, I came up to this car with four feet hanging out of it. It was a man, And a girl. She was screaming. She was being raped. I ran into the car and threw the man off, He grabbed a knife out. But before he could grab it, And point it at me, I had grabbed it and killed him. The woman said her name was Becky. She was a pretty lady, And rich too. She was driving a Benz. I told her my story and she said she would help. We were driving down a dirt road into town, All of a sudden... We heard cops. They pulled us over, She said I'll handle them. She got out, And gave them some kisses, And a card. They left. I asked how she did it, She said she'd never tell. We pulled up in this restaurant and I felt like someone was watching me.

She had stacks of cash, So she went and bought me new clothes . She payed for us a hotel room. It was day five. We needed to get on the move. We slept there that night, And I got a shower the next morning. I got my new clothes. I was ready. So as I opened the door of the hotel room, The cop I had pushed down the latch was standing there with a shotgun at my torso. He backed me up into a dresser, With a vase of flowers on it. He was explaining why he wanted to kill me... So as soon as he was about to pull the trigger I slung the glass vase at his face and hit him. I handcuffed him to the bed so he couldn't leave, As I left with his gun. We got down the road, And there he was...

It was a car chase now. I had to be careful, I couldn't hurt this beautiful lady. As I swerved into the other lane he did too, I went off road and jumped on this ramp and landed right beside him. He lifted a pistol and shot through our window. As I grabbed the girl and pulled her down the bullet scraped my hand. I turned left to make his car go in some bushes. The red paint on his Chevrolet was all scratched with bush marks. He didn't see ahead what I did. I kept running him left hoping he would hit this big hill and flip. He did, He hit this heel and his car did 4 flips until it finally rolled on its side. It was all smashed in, I have no idea how he survived. As he crawled out, He was unarmed and said “I have to tell you something.” As I said what is it. He replied with “I knew you were innocent this whole time but I had to get you back for pushing me down..” We both laughed at that. He said I am getting to old for this police, pursuit crap. I said yeah, Me too. We shook hands, And he watched me drive away. As I drove to the border, I got out and told the girl thank you, And gave her a little kiss on the cheek. I said “I wouldn't have made it without you.” She said No problem. Told me bye and watched me leave. She liked me, I know it.

As It was the sixth day, At twelve o' clock. I walked down the highway, To the border and saw my wife and son waiting there. They had the biggest smile on there faces. As my son ran up he jumped in my arms and hollered daddy, daddy. I hugged him so tight, I thought I was never going let him go. Then there was my wife, Running behind me son. I grabbed her up and gave her a big kiss and a big hug. I told them I have missed them, And I told them I loved them. We walked to the car from the border with Hands locked.

  1. This woman character is interesting. I'm wondering where she got all of this money. And the card she gave to the police. hmmm. I'm thinking that she's more significant than she appears.
